- DRESS CODE
Members and their guests are required to respect the Club’s dress code requirements and maintain a level of dress commensurate with a private golf club. Proper golf course attire should be considered the minimum standard of dress, while on the golf course and driving range. Members are responsible for ensuring that their guests are in full compliance with the Club’s dress code.
- HANDICAP
The Handicap Committee shall consist of the Chair and other members. All scores must be posted for handicapping. Do not post scores when six or more temporary greens are used. The USGA requires a minimum of (3) 18-Hole Scores or (6) 9-Hole Scores to start obtaining a Handicap Index. If a player in daily competition does not post her score, the Handicap Committee has the authority to post the score. It is recommended that the player in question be notified of such action before the score is posted.
USGA provides that in unusual situations, the Committee may adjust handicaps as a penalty for not returning scores or manipulating handicaps.
- RULES of GOLF
The Rules Committee shall consist of the Handicap Chair, Captain, immediate Past Captain and the Club Professional. This committee shall settle disputes concerning the rules of golf. The decisions of the Rules Committee are final. This committee shall work closely with the Tournament Committee in the preparation and posting of specific rules pertaining to each scheduled tournament.
- MISCELLANEOUS
Most shotgun tournaments have a planned meal following the competition. The Club 48-hour cancellation policy applies to all events that include meals.
- DAILY COMPETITIONS
Tuesday’s daily competition may vary as determined by the Pro Shop. There is no Daily Competition during Tournament play. (Items 9 through 17).
On daily competition days, you may select which tees you are playing from, green or silver/green. When you are not in tournament play, all players must post their scores by 5:00 pm that same day for 9 or 18 holes using USGA GHIN. The Pro Shop will post all tournament scores only. According to USGA rules, all players must hole out when playing “stroke play” competition.
Whenever twelve or more Women’s Division players enter a competition, the Overall winner is determined by the best net score over all flights. The Overall winner must have an established handicap index of 41.2 or less and competitively finish the round.
In all flights, Pro Shop credit will be awarded to 1/3 of the leading players in each flight. If there are fewer than 3 players in a flight, those flights will be combined to equal 3 or more players. All ties will be paid.
All competitors must play with another member of the Women’s Division during regular competitions. Each competitor is responsible for signing the competition sheet before play begins. A competitor should place an “X” after her name if she drops out of competition after start of play or draw a line through her name if she does not play at all.
Paper score cards are used for daily competition unless the pro shop specifies to use golf genius. Any competitor failing to turn in a proper scorecard will be disqualified. Cards must be turned in no later than 5:00 pm. No changes may be made on a scorecard after the competitor has turned it in.
STARTING TIMES and TEE TIMES
The Women’s Division competition begins the first Tuesday in March. Tuesday AM tee times open 7 days in advance at 8:00 am. Times may be scheduled via the Club Website, Mobile App or by contacting the Pro Shop. For tournaments with a shotgun start, the event flyer will state the starting time.
TWILIGHT GOLF
Twilight Golf is a weekly 9-hole round on Thursday evenings. Tee times are available from 5:00 – 5:40 and can be made the week before starting at 8:00 am.
